Tour Itinerary

Full Description

A one day tour of Caesarea, Haifa, Acre, and Rosh Hanikra, the highlights of Israel’s northern Mediterranean Coastline. Starting from your hostel/hotel in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, you’ll travel north to Caesarea, King Herod’s impressive port city on the Mediterranean, before visiting Israel’s third largest city, Haifa, where you’ll see a view across the beautiful bay and amazing Bahai Gardens. We’ll head north, to Rosh Hanikra, and explore the beautiful grottoes, before finally stopping at Acre, one of the oldest ports in the world.

Caesarea is one of Israel’s most iconic sites. Once the largest artificial harbor built in the open sea, it has been beautifully restored into a bustling National Park with a fascinating visitor center. After exploring here, you’ll see the impressive city of Haifa. Set on the slopes of Mount Carmel above the Mediterranean, some liken this city to San Francisco. You’ll see the Bahai Gardens, the world center of this interesting religion, before heading north to Rosh Hanikra where the sea has carved beautiful grottoes into the chalk cliffs. Explore the grottoes and travel back south to our final stop, Acre, one of the world’s oldest ports, and a city with a rich history. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll tour the bustling Old City and see the harbor and beautiful sea wall before heading back to your hotel/hostel.

Our private tour to Caesarea, Haifa, Rosh Hanikra, and Acre provides a brilliant insight into the history and geography of northern Israel. Fully guided and departing three times a week, it provides a great way to explore this beautiful region.
