Ben Gurion (TLV) Airport <> Jerusalem

Public Bus 485 (16 ILS)
Bus 485 runs between the Airport and Jerusalem and is a convenient and cheap option during weekdays, however there is no door-to-door service, and it does not run during Shabbat (Friday afternoon until Saturday Evening).
Frequency – Every Hour on the hour (when departing from the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem, it generally arrives up to 10 minutes past the hour)
Schedule – Daily (on Fridays the service ceases at 14:00 and restarts on Saturday at 19:00)
Price– 16 ILS each way (not possible to pre-book – purchase from the driver)
Pick Up/Drop off Locations – From the airport it departs from Terminal 3 on the 2nd floor, gate 23 and drops you at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem. From Jerusalem the bus departs near the Central Bus Station (220 Jaffa Street – the corner of Moriya and Jaffa Streets). You can see a streetview image of the stop here.

Private Taxi (approx. 250 ILS)
From the airport there is a price list for Taxis to Jerusalem. Prices start from around 225 ILS, and increase at night, weekends, and depending on the number of bags and passengers.
From Jerusalem, prices are similar but you should agree on a price with the driver and not use the meter.

Share Taxi (Sherut) (64 ILS) – Book here
The Share Taxi (sherut) runs between the Airport (Terminals 1 & 3) and Jerusalem and is a convenient option available 24/7 with door-to-door service, however more expensive than the public bus.
Frequency – At least every hour (or earlier if full)
Schedule – 24/7
Pricing – 64 ILS (paid in cash to the driver)
Pick Up/Drop off Locations – The taxis depart Terminal 3 from Level G, next to Gates 01-03. They operate a door to door service in Jerusalem so will pick-up and drop off at your accommodation.
Booking
From the Airport – You can book here however pre booking is not required. Generally it is better to pre-book as it saves the hassle of withdrawing local currency at the airport.
From Jerusalem – You can book a pickup from the hostel, or wherever you are staying, up to 24 hours in advance via phone only. The reception will be happy to book this for you or you can call the company directly (02-6257227). NOTE – If you are departing on Saturday or Sunday, you should call on Friday morning as the booking office is closed on Saturday.
